Retargeting has become an essential strategy in any sales funnel. When done right it increases the effectiveness of all other marketing efforts and it will generate more conversions and drive revenue.

The majority of retargeting campaigns are designed around generating traffic (back) to a website with the ultimate goal to convert the user into a customer or a lead.
There is no doubt that (when done right) these types of retargeting campaigns are super effective and efficient. π
They are effective because they generate revenue and they are efficient because they run on autopilot.
When these campaigns hit a certain ROAS (Return On Ad Spend), we tend to leave it as is. Sure you will have to tweak and tune your copy and creatives, but when these campaigns are dialed in, they work for you.
But here is the kicker… β‘οΈ
Even if your traffic based retargeting campaigns are crushing it, you can still improve your bottom line and make your retargeting campaigns more effective. π€― π
There will be potential customers who are engaging with your retargeting campaigns who will not convert, whatever page you send them back too.
Not because they don’t want to buy, but because they just need that extra nudge before they are confident enough to make that purchase.
That nudge is a human touch. We said it before and will say it again. “Conversations π¬Β generate conversions.”
And that is why you should incorporate SMS and or messenger chat into your re-marketing campaigns.
